MILK FOR CHEESEMAKING. AN IMPORTANT CONFERENCE. PALMERSTON N., December 1.. In the course of an interview this morning Mr W. A. lorns (chairman of the Dairy Produce Board) said that an important conference would be held iu Wellington next week to discuss the report of Mr P. O. Veale on the question of the high butter-fat contents of milk used for cheesemaking and the present system of payment on a butter-fat basis for milk supplied to cheese factories.
