BROTHERS FOUND SHOT

APPARENT OUTCOME OF DEPRESSION. HAMILTON, December 2. A double tragedy occurred on a farm at Tirau at 2.30 this morning, when Stanley Chapman, aged 21, and his brother Bruce Chapman, aged 16, were found to have been shot. Both died before medical aid could be summoned. Stanley Chapman had been depressed owing to insomnia and worry. The relations of the brothers had been cordial. The rest of the family were asleep when the tragedy occurred, and no one witnessed or. heard the signs of a struggle. The deceased were the sons of Mr Thomas Chapman, g. well-known Tirau settler.
