NEW RAILWAY WORKSHOPS.

Messrs-A. and T. Burt, Ltd., have been successful in securing the contract for the complete installation of plenum heating and ventilating plants in he railway workshops throughout the Dominion. The contractors have been fortunate in secur ing the services of Mr K. O. Hale, M.I , Mech.E., London, who has had a wide experience in all classes of heating and ventilating, both in England and on the Continent, and will be responsible for the design and complete installation of the plants at Hutt Valley, Otahuhu, Hillside, and Addington. It is very gratifying to know that more than half the apparatus required, will be constructed in Messrs A and T. Burt’s various works throughout the Dominion. Greater production is such a vital factor in modern business that it is now a recognised fact that an efficient beating and ventilating plant is a necessary ad junct to the complete equipment of every modern workshop. Where these plants have been installed it has been proved that in maintaining proper working conditions they represent a very valuable asset.
