During the last week-end two coin boxes in telephone cabinets were broken open and the pennies stolen (relates the Auckland Star). One of the boxes was situated in the city, while the other, which received attention was in Point Chevalier road. Recently the postal authorities have suffered at the hands of petty thieves, and a number of telephone cabinets and postal pillar boxes have been tampered with,;
