NURSES’ EXAMINATION.
Tliere were 11 candidates from the Dunedin Hospital at the State examination for nurses held in June, and all of them were successful. The following candidates from Otago, Southland, and South Canterbury passed the examintion:— Passed vith credit (75 per cent or oyer)—Mary Patterson, Kathleen Phair Eva Sutherland, Mary A. Harvey, Charlotte Inder, Edith Lynn, and Florence Watkins (Dunedin Hospital), Amy Ker and Irene Hopkins (Invercargill Hospital), Euphemia M'Dougall (Timaru Hospital), Gertrude E. Pashby (Waimate Hospital).
Passed —Isabel Stringer, Isobel Anderson, Alice Crawford, and Jessie Lindsay (Dunedir Hospital), AJary E. Williamson, Jean Walker, Jemima Cotter, and Margaret O. Donald (Invercargill Hospital), Mary F. Henderson, Ella M‘llwrick, Dorothy M. Arundel, and Nancy A. White (Timaru Hospital), Mary C. Hyland and Lilias Dodds (Oamaru Hospital).
The following obtained a partial pass:— Agnes W. Wallace (Oamaru Hospital), medical and surgical; John Gunn (Oamaru Hospital), medical; Margaret Geddis (Oamaru Hospital), surgical; Estelle Field (Oamaru Hospital), medical; Jessie Murchison (Invercargill Hospital), surgical and oral.
