FARMERS’ UNION.

WELLINGTON BRANCH.

FEILDING, April 20.

The Wellington Provincial Farmers’ Union met here to-day. The union was opposed to the inclusion of farm labourers under the provisions of the Arbitration Act.

It was decided to circularise a petition in opposition to the re-enactment of daylight saving. A resolution was carried approving of the women’s, division of the union having representation at the Dominion Conference.

Arrangements were made to hold the annual provincial conference in Feildihg on Maj' 30 and 31.
