DUNEDIN PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY.

The annual meeting of the Dunedin Photographic Society was held in the clubroom. Liverpool street, Mr S H Rawson presiding. There was a good attendance of members.

The president comm -ted on the success of the society during the past year and the strong positior it was in with regard to membership, there being 90 members on the roll at the close of the year. During the past year the society had won the interclub competition for the second year in succession, this competition being open to all the amateur photographic societies in New Zealand. The following office-bearers were elected for the ensuing year:—Patrons, the Governor-General and the Mayor; president. Mr S. H. Rawson ; vice-presi-dents—Miss B. M. Gibson, Messrs T. A. Dawson, G. T. Palmer, D. J. Sherriff, W. Williams, G. Chance, W. B. Seymour, and O. Loll; secretary and editor, Mr P. Beck; assistant secret..ry, Miss E. Turnbt.ll; treasurer, Mr D. Erwin ; librarian, Miss E. B. Jeans; lanternist, Dlr T. A. Dawson; auditor, Mr W. Gow; judge, Mr A. H. O’Keefe; committee—Mesdames Ball and Oliver, Messrs J. C. Little and S. V. Robertson; secretary Social Committee, Miss E. Turnbull. Two new members were elected, and a vote of thanks was passed to the chairman.
