DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIP. AUCKLAND. July 20. . Ihe New Zealand butter championship in connection with the Auckland Winter bhow was won by the Waitaki DairyCompany with 954 points; RangiwahiaKuahine Company, of Mangaweka, with 35 points, was second: Masterton, with 94a points, third; and Whangarei and the Nev Zealand Dairy Company (Ngatea factory) 94 points, fourth (equal). The New Zealand cheese championship was von by Lowgarth with 954 points; Waiaruhe, 95 points, was second; and Belvedere, 944 points, third. OTHER RESULTS. A box of butter suitable for export, and manufactured under the most favourable conditions—Riwaka 1, Whangaroa 2, Waitaki 3. , B , ox butter suitable for the local trade—Hikurangi 1, Ngatea 2, Waitaki Box of unsalted butter, suitable for export—Masterton 1, Golden Bay- 2 Wairoa 3. Best box of butter available for export, taken out of grading stores in April —Bay of Plenty 1, Levin 2, Matakana 3. Case of cheese, coloured or white, taken out ot grading stores —Kairanga 1, Milton 2, Waiaruhe 3. Case of cheese, coloured, suitable export—Hukanui 1, Ngaere 2, Horsham Downs 3. Case of cheese, white, suitable export— Lowgarth 1, Pihama 2, Waiaruhe 3. Case ot cheese, coloured, medium, made by factory manager’s first assistant—Lowgarth 1, Kakepuaku 2, Ngaere 3. Rimless cheese, white or coloured, appearance only—Tiratu 1, Bruntwood 2, Eureka 3.
Case of cheese made by one who has not previously- won a prize at the exhibition Pembroke 1, Lowgarth 2, Belvedere 3.
Be of butter made by a butter-maker or first assistant, for export—Cambridge L Whangarei and Rangitikei Plains (equal) 2, Maste. ton 4.
