0F INTEREST TO ACRICULTU3& . POULTRY ROOST. A number of holes are bored in the bottom of this roost, and runways are cut, which break the edges of the holes. "Vermin follow the runways and Thstine-
lively seek the darkness of the holes, where they congregate. The roost is removed and scalded to kill them. CULTIVATOR ATTACHMENT FOR TRACTORS. Some of the features of this attachment rnent are that the beams may be shifted laterally while the ploughs are in tho ground, to follow irregular rows, —that
each beam may be adjusted individually for depth,—that all beams may be raised or lowered simultaneously, and That the control levers of the engine are within easy reach. STUBBLE BURNER. Air pressure is applied to the fuel tank here by a hand pump. The fuel is carried from the tank through a flexible pipe and an iron supply pipe to the burner sections, which are covered with a baffle plate. The supply pipe and burners
are first heated by burning straw under them, and then the oil is turned on. The heated pipes vaporise the fuel, and the burners then keep the pipes healed so that continual vaporisation of the fuel is assured. STOCK GUARD AND PASS WAY. In open position this guard allows automobiles to pass over, but stock or draft animals will not pass it. To allow these
to pass, the hinged filler bars are swung down. These fill the spaces between the cleats, and allow animals to walk over. HARNESS. Thi s device eliminates trees and traces in ploughing. Two metal straps are carried forwardly from the trace bolts of
th 3 hames, and a double clevis connects their ends and supports a neck yoke. From the neck yoke a single chain or trace is connected to the plough clevis. EGG CRATE. The end walls of this filler have outturned flanges above and below. These cover and protect the ends of the cross
partitions and also stiffen the entire filler. Transverse and lateral partitions arc plotted, and fit into one another.
