In conversation with a Napier Daily fele» graph reporter last week, one of the Canadian visitors with the soccer team expressed the opinion that the game with Hawke's Bay’ had been one of the nicest of fhe tour. He stated that the Canadians were rather surprised at the opposition they had met with, particularly from the forwards. A word of praise was also spoken for the ground, the statement beinc made 1 hat it was one of the best “pitches’’ they had played on in this country.
