After dodging a few mountains, " The Skylark " came to earth amid a scene of rare grandeur. They both agreed that they had never seen such gorgeous scenery. “ Oh, lookr suddenly exclaimed Golly. ° What a funny pipe that chap s smoking I Silly!’sneered Teddy. " He’s a swiss mountaineer, and that’s hia bugle for calling the cows home to be milked I” Oh, / say! added Teddy. “Speaking of milk—can you tell me hou) to prevent it from going sour?” " /Vo/” admitted his dusky pal. Why, leave it in the cow, of course.” S They both laughed heartily at Teddy’s little joke. They had a chat with the man with the bugle before leaving, and he pave them each a large bar of Swiss milk chocolate, to eat on their journey to Italy, where you will see them next week• (To be Continued.)
