CONGREGATIONAL WELCOME.

AUSTRALIAN DELEGATES. AUCKLAND, March 11. At the welcome dinner tendered by the Auckland Congregational District to the New Zealand and Australian delegates last evening, Archbishop Averill said he *vas glad to welcome the delegates from Australia. Thu churches should pull together to attain a greater degree of uniformity, so that a louder voice could go from the church than ever before. The Rev. Mr Dowling said the Australian delegates had already been overwhelmed with hospitality. They knew that the Congregationalista of New Zealand had a leadership, but had no idea that the leaders had handled their work with such credit. The Rev. W. Saunders (Dunedin), replying for the southern delegates, referred to the way the ehurehoa were now drawing together. When they were allowed to enter Anglican pulpits without reordination they would come yet closer together. The business session opened this morning with the chairman's address.
