DRAWING HAPPY THOUSANDS
The sunshine was welcomed by thousands at Logan Park on Friday, when perfect weather spelt success for every department of the Exhibition. Friday is the big shopping day and evening of the week, yet the attendance at Dunedin’s great holida / centre for New Zealand was particularly satisfactory. All day long the visiting throngs made the most of every opportunity for enjoyment The band contest wa? continued with marked success, the pavilions contained their quoto of yisitors, the Festival Hall was a special attraction in the evening, tnd the Amusements Park catered for thousands of pleasure-seekers. A.mongst iho vifitors were 800 excursionists from Kaitangata, who made a one-day visit and wore delighted with all that wa g to bo seen and enjoyed. The total r or the day was 17,940.
