THE INVASION OF SCHOOL CHILDREN

It has now been conclusively proved that the weather makes little if any difference to the enjoyment that is to be had by visitors to the Exhibition—certainly the attendances in the cold and uncertain weather on Wednesday were affected, but in every part of Logan Park a successful day was recorded. School children were present m hundreds during the morning, and in th“ afternoon and evening the various sections of the band and piping contest drew a large proportion of thoso who entered the main gates. In the evening the Exhibitiou was again a busy, bustling city of life and laughter under the glowing lights of the pavilions and the great dome. “Never mind the weather,'* was the slogan, and even in the exposed amusements area thousands were entertained and amused. The attendance for the day was 18,326.
