EXPERTS’ DELIGHTED COMMENTS. On Tuesday the complete list of awards both New Zealand and International in the Women’s Section of the Exhibition were made available. These cover every exhibit and display in the section that was entered for Exhibition competition with the exception of the smaller sectional competitions, which have continued since the opening day and have been judged from time to time. Great interest has been taken by women throughout the Empire in these sections of the Exhibition competitions, the results of which have been eagerly awaited, and it will be noticed that New Zealand competitors have made an excellent showing The following are the complete results:— ART, MODELLING, AND POTTERY. In making the above awards Mr Marsh says: “I have been much impressed with the high standard of merit shown in several of the sections particularly the miniatures of the four exhibitors to whom awards have been made. The work of Miss J. C. A. Traill, in the etching section, and the pottery, terracotta, and plaster sections of the modelling work are all very good. This also applies to the pottery work of Miss Violet Mace, and in the designs section, to the work of both ladies to whom first awards have been assigned, whose work is also remarkably good.” DRAWING, POSTERS, ETC. They make special reference to the clever carving and beautiful dressing ot the doll made from willow wood, and to the detail and workmanship of the interiore of the doll’s house aud doll’e ho* pital. The uniform merit of several ot the stuffed animals made judging very, difficult.
