NEW MASONIC TEMPLE.

OPENED IN INVERCARGILL. (Fbom Our Own Correspondent.) INVERCARGILL, February 23. The official opening of the new Masonic temple, which has been erected by the five craft lodges in Invercargill at a cost of approximately £16,000, took place this evening before a large assemblage of local brethren as well as visitors from all parts of New Zealand. The ceremony was carried out by grand lodge officers from Wellington and elsewhere, and was very impressive. The new building, which possesses many new features, is regarded to be the most modern and best equipped lodgeroom in the Southern Hemisphere, and visiting brethren have been lavish in their expressions of admiration for the members whose energies and enthusiasm have made the building an accomplished fact.
