WELLINGTON, September 8. .Judgment has been filed by trio Court of Arbitration in regard to the dispute between tho Waterside Workers’ Federation and the employers as to what constitutes a gang in the stowing of moat, tire question for determination being whether men on stages delivering meat by chutes should be included in thenuniber of men required to constitute a gang. The court lias come ,o the oonch>ion that the duty of those men is more correctly described as delivering moat into tile hold than handling meat in the hold. 'they are really tween-decks' men, who, for convenience, were placed a little below the level of ’tween decks. In the court's opinion they should not be included in a gang, and the contention of the federation was upheld.
