PROPOSALS BY THE GOVERNMENT. WELLINGTON, July 16. Regarding the arrangement.s made by the Government to meet maturing Post office War Loan certificates, it H explained that the certificates '’.ore taken up in the early years of the war, and, commence to mature in August. For those holders who desire to invest for a shorter term, or who are prepared to renew their certificates, tho Pun Office will exchange their present certificates on maturity for investment eertifii.
