ANTI-TUBERCULOSIS SERUM.

LONDON, July 9. Tlie Geneva correspondent of the Sunday Observer says that Dr Spahlinger, the inventor of the anti-tuberculosis serum, requires two years for its manufacture. The Paris Academy of Science, having declared the discovery to he of the highest scientific importance, is now inundated with world-wide applications. Dr Spahlinger aims to in-event the promiscuous manufacture of ineffective serum, and desires that its manufacture and distribution shall he solely conducted by Government laboratories under skilled instructors. Three Governments have already- signed contracts for the erection, of their own laboratories. The British Government is also negotiating.
