This company .should do well, for W ellington folk have an enduring love for these old operas. I here has been much speculation regarding the prices of admission for the New Zealand tour of “Chu Chin Chow.” A few weeks ago il was said that the price for the ! gallery would be 7s 6.1, and a guinea for ! stalls and circle. However, the prices for j the Auckland season range from 10s od to | 2s, and no doubt these prices will rule j throughout New Zealand. | “Odds and Ends,” a new comedy company, opens at the Concert Chamber next w< ek. The company is headed by Kdgley and Dawe and Dan Algal', late principals with the “Sinbai!" Panto. Company. The other members of the company are Batata Hill, I'lorence, and Algie Wilson, Reno Bagot, (icily Audibert, Clara Williams, Alf Rollest.on and Alan Shrimpfon. “ Che Vice-He gals.” a “Digger” costume comedy company, which has just concluded a long season at St. Kikla and a tour of Tasmania, arrived from Sydney oil Monday, and immediately left for Wanganui, where the New Zealand tour opened on Wednesday. The company is a strong one, and is headed by Will Crawford, a comedian of undoubted merit. The other member* are G. R. Hanna. Robert- Pearce, Chris Kilner, Johnnie Mirks, Norman French, Roy Simpson, llaslett Exton, .Jessie Meadows, Hilda Meadows, Rosa D’Arey, A, Southey. Bert. Mtmyard, M. Demie, and Norman Hiilier. “The New Zealand Diggers,” who recently toured the Dominion, have disbanded for the winter. J. A. Macdonald is ahead of the “Odds and Ends” Comedy Company. J Miss Dorothea Spinney gave th ee druma- ! tic recitals in the Concert Chamber oo- ; ot.ntlv, and they were most successful. Miss ! Spinney is an undoubted artist, and her , recitals '.veto a joy to students. | Fullers have a strong biil at Kis Majesty's iat present. New-comers are Jack and Alary | Graham, from America, in a very bright | turn; and Gardner and Revere, another clever couple Nellie Kolle is going as well as ever, and the boys and girls on tho top shelf help her alone with the choruses.
