SHIPPING DEPRESSION.

AUCKLAND, June 18. The Union Company’s steamer Aina, after being docked for examination and repairs, will anchor in the stream, where she will remain indefinitely. The company already has 11 passenger and four cargo boats out of commission, the Atua making the twelfth of the passenger class. The laying up of so many steamers lias been brought about by tho depression in the New Zealand coastal and intercolonial trades.
