A monument to the memory of W. Hall and John ('oultliard. victims of the Eggers murders, was unveiled at Runanga on Sunday by the Hon. G. J. Anderson, Minister of Mines. Jhe monument has been erected on the mound on which Eggers laid in ambush for his victims, and from which no shot them.
