The bridge proposed to be built across the Waitangi River, 53 miles south of Ross, will consist of five 61ft spans (states the Grey River Argus). The bridge will be constructed mainly of local timbers. The site cl v*.'n is some little distance above the pr pent ford crossing, necessitating a deviation of the road along the sideling on the south bank of the river.
