For tho convenience of visiting bowlers, and to afford as many opportunities as possible of meeting together and renewing the days of “Auld Lang Syne,” the green will be open for play from 10 a.m. on the Saturday morning. The gathering for the afternoon is fixed for 2 p.m., and to enable the rinks to be drawn and published in the Friday’s newspaper, all bowlers wishing to take part are asked to see that tne secretary of their ciub has sent in their names to the secretary of the Dunedin Club (H. An effort will be made to make room for members of bowling clubs affiliated to the Dominion of New Zealand Bowling Association, over that age. Should the number of these players be in excess of playing accommodation, a draw will be made for the morning game or a relay game in the afternoon. Rinks may be formed to represent tne club to which the players belong or any other combination, such as Early Settlers. Retired Civil Service, Past, Presidents, Natives of New Zealand. Old High School Boys, Gabriel’s Gully Pioneers, or any other combination that individual players may suggest. The members of the Dunedin Bowling Club will be pleased to have the assistance and co-operation of all bowling clubs in endeavouring to make the Elderly Bowlers' Day as successful as previous years. To avoid any of the elderly bowlers being overlooked, secretaries of clubs are asked to place this invitation on the club’s notice board ; also to make a point of forwarding the names of their players before Tuesday, February 8.
