Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity, under a penalty of 2sovs. 1 Owners are responsible for all penalties and allowances. No jockey shall, after leaving the Birdcage, speak to or hold any communication with any person other j than a Steward, the Starter or his assistant, or the Clerk of the Course. I In all handicap races, except two-year-olds, ! where not otherwise stated, the minimum weight will be 7st. Owners and Trainers will only be admitted to the Birdcage immediately before and directly after any race in which they have a horse engaged. The winner of any race after declaration ot weights may be re-handicapped. Entries and Acceptances close at 5 p.m. oi a their respective dates unless notified to the contrary. .
