AUCKLAND, May 25. The Auckland district health returns show a satisfactory decrease in the number of influenza notifications, and only a small number of these, moreover are severe. The number of notifications for the 24 hours ended at noon to-day is 42 of which nine are severe. This is .a decrease of 89 on yesterday's return for the previous 48 hours. MILD CASES IN CROMWELL. (From Otjb Own Correspondent.) CROMWELL, May 28. During- tbe last few days a large number of mild cases of influenza, have been reported, and in eonsequenco the school has been closed. Numerous cases are still being reported daily.
