Can the Official Assignee claim property which has been given to the wife of tho bankrupt?" Answer: No. Mortgagor asks: —"I gave a mortgage over my property in August, 1915, for a period of three years. There is a clause in the mortgage excluding it from the provisions of tho Mortgages Extension Act. If tho mortgage is called up on the due date, am I compelled to pay off the mortgage?" Answer: Yes.
