A ballot of members of the Ohinoniuri Mines and Batteries' Employees' Union was taken on the 2nd inst., on the question of amalgamating all Gold, Coal, and Shale Workers' Unions under one federation. The voting favoured the federation by 164 votes agaiiist 40.
