FOOTBALL.
The forty-seventh annual meeting of the Union Football Club was held on Wednesday, 6th inst., Mr H. H. S. White (vicepresident) ocoupied the chair. The Chairman moved the adoption of the annual report, and referred to the largo number of members who had gone to the front—about 170, 17 of whom had been Idlled. The election of office-bearers for the enaning year resulted as follows t —President, Mr .T. Hope; vice-presidents—Messrs H. 11. S. White, H. Harris, W. Beadle, Dr Fitzgorald;' club captain, Mr J. Robson; honorary treasurer, _ Mr T. Devine ; secretary, Mr W. Stiglich; assistant secretary, hlr R. Morris; General Committee—Messrs
P. Aitken, A. Aitkon, N. Cameron, H. Gilliam, H. Smith, 0. Knox; auditors, Messrs H. H. S. White and W. Beadle; delegates to 0.R.F.U., Messrs H. H. B. White. J. Robson, and W. Stiglich; temporary Match Committee —Messrs J. Robson, N. Cameron, and O. .Knox.
