WAR REGULATIONS.

CHRISTCHURCH* January 4

At the Magistrate's Court' this morning. Alexander Gilbert Haro and James Madden were each sentenced to a month's imprisonment for a breach of the war regulations. The offence consisted of booking passages by a steamer in other than their own names, evidently with the intention of evading military responsibilities.
