A case presenting a peculiar feature was dealt with at the Supreme Court, Napier, on the 15th inst. A man named John Corkill disappeared from his home in Napier in June, 1905, and since then has never been heard of. Mr Justice Chapman ruled that death took place- about that date, and granted probate in the estate, Wolfc'e Schnapps ie incomparable for etomacb and kidney ailments.
