MACKAY.—In loving memory of Thomas Cordon Mackay, who was killed at Gatlipoli on December 1-', 1!)15, son of Mianil Mrs Mackay, Hyde Home, Waikaia. Th-ey loved him most who knew him best. SHARP.—On December 10, 1015, at Ypres, Private James Sharp (Eighth Battalion, South Staffordshire Regiment), oldest So7i of Thomas and Mary Sharp, Kaitangata. In the stress of battle he fighting fell
STEPHENS.—In fond memory of Private Richard Henry Stephens (Otago Battalion. Sixth Reinforcements), who was killed while assisting a wounded companion at the Dardanelles on December 10, 1015.
He rose responsive to his country's call, He gave his life, his best, his all; His work well done and honour won To obey His great command. Most kindly son anil brother dear. And though lie sleeps so far away. In memory he is with me day by day. Who died' as he always lived—for others. —lnserted by his sorrowing sister.
