Tho Patea County Council has decided to tar-seal some five or six miles of the Main road within its boundaries. The Stratford Post states that portions will bo selected which :.have a sufficient depth of metal, and are at tho moment in proper condition to take tar-sealing, and doubtless tho policy will be pursued in the future of tar-sealing each section of the Main road, as it is renewed and remetalled from time to time.
