BANKRUPT COUNT’S EFFECTS.

ROTORUA. September 29. The personal effects of Count Rone do Montaigne, who went bankrupt last November and has since loft the dominion, wore sold at auction to-day in the King’s Theatre, which was crowded. The lots comprised guns, rods, jewellery, nick-nacks, and a largo quantity of boots and clothing. The prices realised were good, and the sale was not finished. It is expected that the estimated auction value of £250 will bo fully realised. An oil painting and a set of furs, presented for the Patriotic Fund, were also auctioned, and realised £3l ss.
