CORONATION AT DARGAVILLE. DARGAYILLE, September 28, Squally weather damped the procession promoted in connection with the crowning of the Farmers’ Queen (Miss Ambury), but nevertheless a record crowd assembled, and the procession w"p a mile long. The total amount realised is over £6500. Mr Hugh Mitchell (hon. secretary of the Otago Country Qudcn Committee) reports the receipt of £IOO 2s 6d, from the Kyeburn Station.
