Handicaps will be declared immediately after Memorial Stakes. Acceptances, 10 minutes after weights are posted. General Conditions. All races to be run in accordance with New Zealand Ru'es of Racing, and New Zealand Trotting Association’s Rules. Rule 172. —‘‘ By the entry of, or endeavouring to enter, a. horse, any person having, or subsequently acquiring, any interest in such horse shall be deemed to accept all the conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by these rules, and to be debarred from questioning the action or conduct of the Club or oilier body holding a sports meeting, or (if any official of the Club, or such other body in respect of such horse, or of any person connected therewith otherwise than is provided for in Part xxx.” Any horse winning a race after declaration of handicaps may be rehandicapped. Entries by telegram must bo confirmed in writing at the earliest opportunity, or, if not, the nominator is liable to be fined a sum of £2. This rule will be strictly enforced. Owners, trainers, and others are notified that no entries or acceptances will be received unless accompanied by the necessary fees in cash, name, description, age, and pedigree of horse, and name of trainer, owner, and colours.
