BIBLE-IN-SCHOOLS LEAGUE.

WELLINGTON, October 1. A meeting of the Biblc-in-Schools League Dominion Executive (Bishop Ncyill presiding) accepted Canon Garland’s resignation as organising secretary, and expressed great appreciation of his work while ;n New Zealand. It was reported that £2195 had been raised by members of the league to provide ambulances for the Expeditionary Force, and the sura of £2OO0 —sufficient to provide four ambulances —had been handed to the Minister of Defence. It was decided that the balance of £195 bo handed to the Government for the purpose of providing hospital accommodation at Rotorua for -wounded soldiers returning from the front. The Rev. N H. H. Robjohnn (formerly general secretary to the league in Auckland province) was appointed acting-secretary of the league.
