SUGGESTED STIMULUS TO RECRUITING. WELLINGTON,. October 4. A suggestion was made in Rarliament today bv°Mr Graigie to the effect that a dozen or' a score of convalescent soldiers from Flanders or Gallipoli, representing the crack Imperial regiments, should be brought to New Zealand to assist in recruiting. Mr Graigie said he thought the Government; might communicate with the Imperial Go. vernment on the matter. The cost would bo small, and a great stimulus would .bo •given to recruiting. Mr Massey, on behalf of tho Minister of Defence, said the idea was a rather good one, and he would gladly consult his colleagues about it. “I am perfectly Satisfied that tho manhood of the country will supply all tho soldiers w r o ask for,” added Mr Massey, “although wo are likely to ask for a good number in the near future/’
