REES. —On May 7, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Sergeantbnglor Sidney Charles, only son of Elizabeth H. and the late Sydney C. Rees, 25 Islington street, NorthEast Valley; aged 19 years. SALTER—On May 3. 1915, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Joshua James, third son of the late Martin and Catherine Salter, of Port Chalmers.
