Mac Loan, Potts Point, Sydney, and R. M. French, Ashburton. HOOPER —On May 18, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Private George Albert Hooper, beloved brother of Mrs R. Joyce, 35 Fitzroy street, Caversham; aged 23 years. Deeply regretted. HUNTER.—On May 8, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Harry (late Traffic Department, Now Zealand Railways), third son of David and Jessie Hunter, 8 M‘Bride street; in his 25th year. JENKINS. —On May 2, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Lancecorporal Sid and Private Cecil W. Jenkins (New Zealand Main Expeditionary Forces), eldest and second sons of David and May Jenkins, of Gap road, Winton, and dear friends of Mrs E, H. Reeves and family, 51 Albany street.

LOCKHART.—On May 8, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Gordon William, youngest son of Mrs Lockhart, Belfast, Ireland, and brother of J. W. R. Lockhart, 410 Cumberland street, Dunedin; in his 25th year. He answered the call. MELLOR. —Killed in action at the Dardanelles, Private John Alfred, only son of Thomas and Elizabeth Mollor, of 12 Carnarvon street, Bcllcknowes; aged 24 years. Deeply mourned. “Ho hath done what ho could.” MORGAN.—On May 2, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Private Richard Francos (Dick), (Otago Battalion), oldest son of John and Jane Morgan, of Ranfurly, and brother of Mrs T. S. Finder and Mrs A. Henderson (Dunedin), and Miss K. Morgan (Milton); in his 27th year. Ho died for New Zealand and the Empire.
