A small company has been formed in Timaru with the object of erecting and running another flourmill there. At present there arc three flourmills in Timaru. It is understood (the Christchurch Press states)" that two farmers are members of the new company, and that a grain merchant will manage the business. Numerous farms have been changing hands in the Pahiatua district during the past few months. Two properties in the Ngaturi district are reported to have changed hands lately at £ls and 513 10? per acre respectively. the prices being a good advance on tliO original price paid for the land.
