Exceptionally cold weather was experienced in Dunedin on Sunday night. Snow fell during the night, and early on Monday morning there was a light coating on the streets of the city. The weather yesterday was cold, but not unpleasant considering the season. ASHBURTON, June 14. The heaviest fall of snow experienced in this district for some years occurred on Sunday. It commenced to fall shortly before midday, and continued with short intermissions well into the evening.
