GRAIN AND PRODUCE REPORTS. (Lyttelton Times, Saturday, June 5.) Since the previous quotations very little business has been done with the farmers, and the grain market shows little change. The recent bad weather probably kept back any lines That were coming forward, but it was stated that the end of the season for the farmers must be close, and their offerings are therefore small. For potatoes there are a few inquiries, and the price has advanced, quotations being from 5s to 7s 6d higher than they were earlier in the week. The following quotations are for purchases from farmers, net cash, sacks extra delivered at country stations: Wheat—Nominal; Tuscan 6s Bd, Hunters 6s 9d, Pearl 6s lOd. Oats—A grade Cartons 4sldto 4s 2d, B grade 3s lid to 4s, Duns 4s 2d, Algerians to 4s 3d. . Barley —(Nominal), prime maltmg os to 6s 3d, medium 5s 3d to 5s 6d. Peas—Blue Prussians, 6s 4d; Partridge, 6S Ohaiff—Bright oatsheaf £6 5s to £6 10s, oat straw chaff £2 10s to £2 15s, wheat straw. £2 to £2 ss. Bran —Local, £8 ss; f.0.b.. £B. Potatoes —£4 5s to £4 7s 6d. Pollard—£9 a ton. Oatmeal—£23 per ton. Flour—Sacks £l7 10s, 1001 b bags £lB, 501 b bags £lB ss, 251 b bags £lB 10s. Seeds—(Nominal), ryegrass, Italian and perennial. 5s 6d to 6s; cocksfoot. 131 b seed 7£d to 8d; white clover, farm dressed, Is; cow grass. 7gd.
