A Press Association telegram from Feilding states that some years ago the local Presbyterian congregation decided to drop sales of work and similar methods of raising money, and to substitute a gift Sunday on the first Sunday in June each year. In the past nine years £932 has been raised in this way. On Sunday the Rev, G. Budd announced that the day’s offerings were £lO6. In spite of many appeals more than the average has been reached.
