Tho treatment which the New Zealand soldiers at tho front are receiving in the matter of food is referred to in a letter dated April 15. just received by the parents of a young Wellingtonian who is with the forces (the Dominion states). After referring generally to the excellent fare the 'writer* adds; “We have had butter and cheese now for some time, and, by jove! we are getting well done for. For dinner to-night we had soup, roasts of fine beef, and then potatoes and beans and rice, with sultanas.. I don’t think any man can grumble about that —and plenty ol it.
