“I move that the Minister of Infernal Affairs ” commenced a delegate at the - Country Racing Clubs’ Conference, but he o-ot no further for the moment owing to the sallv of laughter that arose. The wife (says the Star) vehemently denied the imputation, and in the course of explanation it was discovered that she had gone to the Albert Hall for an hour as an onlooker one evening, to see how the tango was danced.
