As, owing to the holidays, the Otago Witness will go to press one day earlier on the Christmas and New Year weeks—that is, on December 23 and December 30, instead of December 24 and December 31—correspondents are requested to post their contributions so that these may reach us not later than Saturday, Decernber 20, and Saturday, December 27, respectively.
