AH Entries and Acceptances to be addressed to the Secretary, and contain entrance money, with name and description of horse, age at time of entry, name of owner, pedigree, colours of rider, and, in case of handicaps, the performances of horses not known to the bandicappor. Present season's performances to be sent in with entry. All Entries and Acceptances, accompanied by the full amount in cash, must he in ibe Viands of the Secretary before 9 p.m. on their respective dates, unless stated to the contrary. Riders and Drivers must appear in proper jockey costume or they will he fined. This rule will be strictlv enforced. All Races will be :un under the rules of the New Zealand Trotting Association. Every Owner of Trotting Horses and Ponies in New Zealand must register with the Association a!! horses in his possession, giving brand, ago, pedigree, and general description of each horse, prior to nominating in anv race. Rule 172. Rules of Trotting: “By the entry of. or endeavouring to enter a horse, every person having, or subsequently acquiring anv interest in such horse, shall be deemed to accept all conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by those Rules, and to be debarred from questioning the action or conduct of the Club or other body holding a Sports meeting, or of any official of the Chib, or other such body in respect of such horse or anv person connected therewith otherwise than is provided for in Part xxx.
