ELECTION CIRCULARS.
ALLEGED DESTRUCTION BY POSTAL OFFICIAL. THAMES, January 24. Al to-day's sitting of the Police Court William Law Young, a postal official, was eliarged with failing to deliver and with destroying circuJare. It appeared that before "the general election a large number of circulars was sent through the post. By inadvertence, and with no criminal nor wicked intent, it was alleged that accused had failed to deliver 30 circulars. It waa alleged that he destroyed them.' Subsequently he gave a list of the names overlooked", and offered to deliver the circulars, but it was too close to the election. The case was unfinished.
