DEATH OF MRS WILSON

SYDNEY, August 9,

At the inquest on the body of Mary Wilson, a verdict of suicide was returned. A stewardess on the Maheno gave evidence that the woman joined the vessel at Auckland. The deceased had mentioned that she had been to see a doctor.

The identity of Mary Wilson, who was found dead in her room in a Sydney hotel, remains unsolved. A woman and a man identified her as the mother of the former, but inquiry in New Zealand showed that the mother of this Wilson is alive and well.

Mrs Wilson’s large stock of clothes and other belongings, including a carving knife and razor, afforded not the slightest clue to her identity.
